First thank you for all of the birthday blessings! They were so appreciated! It was a much need restful and quiet evening!

Little recap! Monday we had our second home study!! Everything checked and we were approved!! We are beyond grateful for our social worker, it has been nothing short of blessing building a relationship with her!
We then had to few more things to submit with the help of a few great people! We are beyond grateful for every who has been apart of our story and has helped us along the way!!
We are officially IN! She has our portfolio and if she gets a call she can share who we are. We are entering this new season of waiting and I can honestly say, I am thrilled. I almost don’t want it to end (maybe I’m exaggerating a little lol) because I truly know whatever the Lord has planned it going to be worth it!! I can see how we have grown through this process and we are more prepared for this seasoning of waiting!
I’m ready. With a blank room. A blank slate. Trusting in the Lord for what He has in store. If you would’ve asked me how the waiting was going a few years ago, I probably said “God’s time.” Which is super true but my heart wasn’t where He really wanted me to be. He wants me to completely surrender to Him. I would’ve had this room packed with things and all the things but you never know. I would’ve wanted everything in order and set right for when we get the call. The car seat, bed, clothes, diapers, anything and everything I thought I could use. But now. Now I am ready. All I want/ need to have is a car seat and bassinet for our baby. The Lord will provide the rest WHEN I need it.
So yes, this room may look unready and not full or complete bur our hearts are full of love and joy. To be poured out for our sweet baby because truly that is all they need!
