Many Graces

6.23.25

Unexplainable but I can try to explain how this weekend went. And I promise I’ll try to be brief.

This year has been rough for me spiritually, which really started in the beginning of the year when we said we are adopting. I became dry in my personal faith but I was still doing the things, praying the rosary and going to mass. Something was missing. There was a friend that talked about contemplative prayer, a deep meditative profoundness of thinking. I’ve been trying to get this but it wasn’t clicking, my mind was just doing tricks. I felt like I was there but truly wasn’t. See how that worked? It was slow but I was falling away each step I took. It just wasn’t ready for the peak yet.

This weekend was nothing short of peak. The grace that was pour out this weekend was unbelievable. I prayed for a slap in the face a boy did I get a push to move forward. This weekend I was truly able to take the next step of my faith. Really able to dive into contemplative prayer and BE with the Lord fully. As Catholics, the sacraments give us ultimate grace that helps us build on sanctity.

He is TRUTH. He is LOVE. He is EVERYTHING.

I didn’t just feel that this weekend it was a truth found within my heart. He lit a fire that I can’t contain and it has brought upon so much peace within me. it is all because of Him that I get to continue.

Also grateful for these beautiful women to share this with.

We had our first home study this morning and will have another in a few weeks! We will be completely IN once they are completed. We are so grateful for the beautiful guide we have been given on the journey. We were able to give our portfolio to her so our little family wanted to go can be known. We could get a call at any time going forward. I’m just sitting back and letting the Lord work because boy does He have something up his sleeve.

Last thing, promise, then I’ll let ya go! When we added on to the front porch of our house we had to move pull up some of the pants and I just had to keep the St. Joseph lily bulbs that my grandmother (Gammie) brought. Well I have not have time or knew a place I was going to put them so I just left them on the side of the house hoping they wouldn’t die. I walked outside this morning and 2 (not 1 but 2) were BLOOMING!!! They are sitting on top of the ground and have not been touched! Thank you St. Joseph.

Cole and I prayed to Saint St. Joseph and many other saints before our home study. They are truly prayer for us just as all of you! They experienced life and successfully made it to the Lord. I hope to do the same one day! I hope we all do!!

Okay I’m done for now! Lol I’ll be back soon!! Thanks for keeping up with us and following along with our story! 🫶🏼
