Growing the Frey’s

I’ve seen so many faces and have gotten to personally talk to a lot of you recently!! For that, I am beyond grateful! It’s so heart warming to get to explain our process in person, it truly makes this process real. We are preparing for our baby!

Tomorrow we will be going for our individual interviews. This is so our agency knows who we are and can think of us as we get further into this process. Again, we are building relationships and what a wonderful experience it is. So beautiful to hear their perspectives and experiences through this process.

I don’t think we can speak the word grateful enough. For this process. For the love we share. For the relationships we’re building. For the trust we are growing. Most importantly, for God in all of His goodness and every step He’s allowing us to take.

I was speaking to a friend and she told me something from a homily she heard and that it will now always stick with me.

“It’s not our story but God’s story”

It made me think, personally. I am trying to write my story or am I allowing Him to write? Am I wanting to be apart of His?

My prayer tonight is for Cole and I to be apart of the Lord’s story. That we may be guided by the Holy Spirit each step of this journey. We pray to find joy in everything little thing and every struggle because we know deeply that the Lord will turn it for our good.

We have started a 54 day rosary Novena for this journey we are on and our future children to come. Please join us in saying the rosary and keep us in your prayers during this next step!
